Pro-life college students are important ambassadors for our cause. Relative to other age brackets, college-aged women experience disproportionately high rates of both unintended pregnancy and abortion; it’s therefore especially important to have a visible, vocal pro-life presence on campus letting pregnant students know about resources and support available for them. Additionally, college students are more likely than other demographics to be pro-choice. Some come to this position through thought and experience, but others are pro-choice in an offhand way, passively absorbing the norms of their social circles. Pro-life campus groups have the opportunity to challenge that status quo.
If there is already a pro-life group on your campus, reach out to them and ask how you can participate. If you aren’t sure whether your campus has a group, you can ask the appropriate regional coordinator at Students for Life of America for information.
